FAMILY TREE NURSERY
Pet POLICy
At Family Tree Nursery, our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all guests and team members. While we understand and appreciate the special bond people share with their pets, the nature of our properties, including retail spaces, greenhouses, and outdoor shopping areas, requires us to set clear guidelines regarding animals in and around our stores. The following policy outlines our current stance on pets and includes essential information regarding ADA-compliant service animals, as well as updates to our policy. For the safety, comfort, and clarity of everyone, please take a moment to review the guidelines below:
Family Tree Nursery is, first and foremost, a garden center and retail store. While we love our furry friends, we must ask that you refrain from bringing them to our stores, which includes in and around all retail spaces, greenhouses, and outdoor shopping areas. Pets can inhibit the shopping experience for you and other guests and present safety problems for themselves, their owners, and other guests. Many products in our stores can also be harmful to your pets.
While we have welcomed pets in the past, we have had to adjust our policy as our business and guest experience needs have evolved. Allowing pets has led to unforeseen safety concerns and complications involving our products, guests, team members, and other animals. To better protect everyone and ensure a safe, comfortable environment, we decided to make this change.
As defined under ADA guidelines, service animals will be permitted in the store but need to be leashed and monitored to ensure the safety of the animals and everyone around them.
Thank you for your cooperation!
